I went to Farmart yesterday. It’s situated at Lim Chu Kang and it feels like a kampong selling fresh eggs, vegetables, small little puppies (they’re really cute, but i don’t dare to go in bcos there’s BIG dog inside…) and many more.
One of the shop left a deep impression bcos i did somethg embarassing inside. This shop sells eggs and frozen meat. Interesting enough the black chickens’ eggs are white in color. Just like the eggs you see in ang moh dramas/movies. The embarassing thing which i did in the shop was when I went over to the freezer to check out what’s inside. I started screaming after i saw the content in the freezer and i ran out of the shop! Hahahaha… Basically there’s a crocodile leg inside the freezer and the paws/claws whatever you call that is still attached to the flesh. It’s disgusting la!!! But Uncle William (the shop owner) explains that it’s to show to those nosey aunties that they’re buying real crocodile meat.
Anyway after the random shopping and the BBQ dinner we had (including my first try on BBQ quail birds), we went for prawning. I paid $13 for an hour of prawning.
AND…
I never managed to catch a single prawn. NONE. ZERO. TOTALLY NONE!!!
And the best part is…
We had a competition to see who can catch the most prawn in an hour time.
BUT all 4 of us caught NOTHING…
$39 just went down the drain… I suspect there isn’t any prawn in that pond. HMPF!!!
We could have spent that $39 on movie instead… hai…
Bad choice.. bad choice…
I feel so full from my dinner… my stomach is bloated. totally bloated now…
